It's time to Get Your Wheels In Motion
Rick Hansen Quality of Life Grant Funding Now Available The opportunity to get a project funded is now made available to various individuals and organizations in Alberta. This funding is part of the Solutions money that is set aside from the Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion events held each spring throughout the province of Alberta. Some of the possible funding opportunities from the Solutions funding could include: include employment, education and skill development, sport and leisure, assistive devices, transportation, housing, accessibility, awareness and information programs, peer support and other practical assistance required to return to a productive life in the community after an injury as well as research. Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion events bring communities across Alberta together to raise funds for solutions that improve the quality of life of people with spinal cord injury.
