SCI Education Innitiative
The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in partnership with the Calgary Health Region (Foothill's Hospital) and the Canadian Paraplegic Association (Alberta) have developed an education package for people with spinal cord injury. The purpose of the project is to provide timely, appropriate education and information to assist people with SCI to live healthy lives upon their return to the community.

Spinal Cord Research Centre
The Centre was brought into being through a joint effort among the Canadian Paraplegic Association, the Health Sciences Centre Research Foundation and the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Medicine. The Centre consists of 21 principal investigators from seven Departments or Schools of the University of Manitoba. These investigators are joined by over sixty research associates, post-doctoral fellows, students and support staff.
