From the Karolinska Institutet, Library, Stockholm, Sweden, these pages contain links to external ('no-charge') resources on the Internet dealing, in particular, with diseases and disorders, but also with a few other health/medical related topics. MedWeb is a catalog of health related web sites maintained by the Emory University Health Sciences Center Library to provide access to biomedical information to improve education, research and patient care. There is a search box, a "Browse by Subject" link, and a health topics list under Consumer Health.

National Health Information Center
NHIC puts health professionals and consumers who have health questions in touch with those organizations that are best able to provide answers. The site includes the Health Information Resource Database which contains information on 1,500 organizations and government offices.
